I would like to first apologize for the fucked up post ahead of this one as I dropped my cell phone on the keyboard and of course it hit enter to post a unfinished title nevermind no writing.
Anyways, how about the QB situation in the NFC West. First Alex Smith gets seriously hurt so they have to turn to Trent Dilfer. Now the Rams are benching Mark Bulger in favor of Gus motherfucking Frerotte. Is someone turning back the clock in this division to about 7 years ago, possibly longer. I mean I don't care how good a backup QB Frerotte is considered around the NFL the key is "backup" QB. He has made a 14 year career on him being good at holding a clipboard and having those little meetings with the QB and the coach during time outs and shit. Now I know the Rams are saying that this move is temporary and I am sure it is considering Bulger just signed a $65 million dollar extension this offseason. I just think it is hilarious that two teams in the NFC went old school because of the lack of QB's around, I mean Christ, Kelly Holcumbe or however the hell you spell his name is the starter in Minnesota. But who knows, Dilfer is a proven winner, one of the more ridiculous titles given to players who win games but people dont' know how because they aren't very good, and Gus Gus could have a huge day on Sunday cause I am doubting him. It is fitting that they are playing the Arizona Cardinals, not only because Kurt Warner is back splitting time with Leinart, another great example of going old school, but also the fact that this is the team I have chosen to root for at the beginning of the year. Nothing like sticking to me after I wrote about how ridiculous it is that he is starting. All this because the QB of my old team loved to fight dogs, but that is a whole other rant I am not gonna even get involved with right now.

Green Balls is on the Pats I think. Bulger has two broken ribs, thats why he isnt playing.
The rockies just went up to +140. I can't believe I am not taking those odds because it is phenominal. I believe that the fact I will refuse to sell my soul on this game will cause the Phillies to rise triumphant in victory.

exactly my initial thoughts kamine... too bad there's no video of that anywhere on the world wide. My other thought when I read the headline about frerotte was "are you kidding me?" in the mike gundy voice. Pretty much everytime I think that phrase in my head ever since that outburst, it pretty much comes through in the Mike Gundy voice... are YEW kiddin me? who's the kid here!? makes me wanna PEWke.
