The One that Got away

Today it was announced that Carlos Pena is the Comeback Player of the Year for the AL. Now this guy definitely deserved it. He was highly touted coming up from the Detriot System, but just never got it done at the big league level and floated from team to team. He had one decent year with the Tiggers when he hit 27 homeruns, but he only batted .240 and struck out 140 plus times. This year the dude was unstoppable. The guy hits 46 hrs, batted .280, drove in 121, walked 103 times, and scored 99 runs. All this from a guy who was a non roster invitee to spring training and only started at first because Greg Norton went down early in the year. Now what pisses me off about this whole things is not that he had a great year because good for him, but the cunty was on the Yankees last year and wanted to resign with them. But they didn't want him and he left for the Drays. Now no one could know that he would be that good, but imagine him on the yanks. Him and arod would have hit a total of 100 dingers between the 2 of them. Plus he would have gotten much better protection than bj Upton and Delmon Young. I know they are projected good hitters, but they are no AROD and Posada, who had a sick year. Yanks also haven't had a permenant first basemen all year because doug and andy philips were both hurt all year and Giambi was all roided out and hurt and fucking with Mitchell trying not to get suspended. Now all these guys did fill the gaps pretty well for the yanks this year. But Pena season was too good. Not only that but he killed the yanks. DRays took the season seiries from the Yanks and this guy was a big part of it hitting something stupid like 8 or 10 homeruns vs them. I guess that is sticking it to the team that let you go. Good for him. Prolly on the juice though, but as we said before who cares, everyones doing it and by it I mean HGH.
