thanks jimbo...i always think beckett isnt that good and then he pulls these huge performances...if i ever question beckett again...someone tell me to finger my own butt
yimmy.....so far 1-1 after the 6th...classic pitchers duel though webb has had a man on each inning and gave up a high chopper w/ the bases loaded that was fielded deep in the ss hole and cubbies tied it up.....drew dropped a bomb off zambrano in the 4th
damnit kamine, beat me to the punch, good work...
couple side notes: there are cubs fans holding up signs in zona...if i was a dback fan i would take the sign and shit on it...that is inexcusable!!!
also, in the top of the bottom of the 4th (or 5th) zambrano started goin nuts after he k'ed brandon webb to end an inning...this fuckin annoyed the balls of me...i don't know why, it just did...
by the way.....how much better overall player is stephen drew than j.d drew....i may be biased in seeing jd suck it all the time vs the yanks and in the east but seems like his younger brother is just better overall..esp in defense
i agree, tho my sample size is like 4 games total...jim, u should let us know what u think about jd drew...

another tidbit about JD and Stephen: They both refused to sign with the team that drafted them at least right away. JD obviously never played an inning for the Phils, thank God, and Stepho would not sign with the DBacks at first and played a year in the Atlantic League for the Camden Riversharks before signing a year later.
